Cottonwood Roots
The cottonwood trees of Oklahoma and Kansas bring back many memories to me. Shade in the summer, the wind in their leaves sounding like rain. Each of my drawings is really a portrait, and this old cottonwood near Great Salt Plains, OK is filled with memory and meaning.
