Stone Fence Post
It was fall. My dad had to have open heart surgery in Amarillo TX. I brought along a photo of these Kansas stone fence posts. There weren’t enough trees on the Kansas prairie where my dad and mom grew up, so they made the fence posts from limestone. Long hours in the waiting room before and after, I saw started to see how these posts represented my dad leaning on me, but now I realize that I have always been leaning on him.
